I became an RMT in 2019 after attending WCCMT in Victoria.
I have been using hot stones in my treatments since 2020.
My goal is to facilitate a parasympathetic state where your body can relax and healing can happen.

I find that using the stones I am able to give more consistent, even, flowing pressure.
Using them in my hands during treatment I can direct the heat and pressure into tight muscles, giving them permission to unwind.
During the warmer months, the clinic is kept nice and cool so the warmth feels like a relaxing contrast.
Snakes have a longstanding connection to powers of healing and transformation.
Look at the symbols often used in health care:
The Rod of Asclepius and the Caduceus.
Look at the spirit energy of Kundalini.
But why Serpentarius?
When looking for names, my partner and I discovered this older name for the constelation Ophiucus, the serpent bearer.
In some versions of astrology, this constelation is the 13th zodiac sign and happens to align with our birthdays.
Couple that with the road we live on Fer de Lance road being the common name for a particuar snake, and it was all coming up serpents!
